U.S. Department of Education Gainful Employment Regulations

As a result of the new gainful employment regulations put into effect, the U.S. Department of Education has recently released data showing the typical earnings of graduates of thousands of programs offered across the country.

However, while this report was created to help guide potential students from financial risk, the gainful employment data reported for the Kubert School was inaccurate. The debt number is grossly inflated and the potential income data is not realistic.

Because we have been misrepresented in the current report, the Kubert School has made an appeal to the U.S. Department of Education. In addition, we will renew our gainful employment data in October of 2017, at which time the correct rates will be reflected.

The Kubert School has been open for 40 years and has outstanding reputation throughout the industry. Many of our alumni have had accomplished careers in a very competitive field. Our employment rate for graduates has been 80% and over for the past 7 years.  And our loan default rate of 4.6%, which is considered to be very low.

Employment rate is based on students who complete the program and are employed in the art field one year from completion.  Exclusions include those students who are continuing their education at an accredited school, in the military, or are medically unable to work.
