Each course listed below is worth 112.5 Hours – 3.75 Credit Hours. Each credit hour = 30 clock hours. The ten courses together are worth 1125 Hours – 37.5 Credit Hours.
201. Basic Drawing II
Extensive and intensive study in sketching and drawing varieties of representational and imaginative forms concentrating particularly on Cartoon-Graphics©.
202. The Human Figure II
Continued concentration on anatomy and drawing utilizing varieties of materials and color as applied to commercial illustration and reproduction.
203. Narrative Art II
Essentials in graphic communication concerning multiple phases of cartooning, animation and commercial/advertising art.
204. Methods and Materials II
In-depth studies of multipurpose materials and varieties of uses in contemporary Cartoon-Graphics© fields of illustration.
205. Color Illustration I
Adaptation of color in its various forms in illustration and reproduction as applied in the cartoon/commercial art field.
206. Digital Production II
Through the use of modern computer technology, the formation of those traditional elements which comprise proper balance in illustration, storytelling and graphics.
207. Humor/Caricature II
Approaches to communication and illustration from the standpoint of humor and its relation to Cartoon Graphics© in general.
208. Advertising Illustration
Utilization of varieties of media in commercial advertising and illustration including books, magazines and greeting cards.
209. Story Adaptation
Studies in procedure of converting stories and ideas from text forms into illustrated narratives.
210. Business of Cartoon Art
Concentration on acquiring a professional attitude toward the field of cartoon and commercial art, and an understanding of the business aspects involved in the profession of commercial art.
