Tom Mandrake
Comic book artist/illustrator
Spotlight on Alumni and current instructor Tom Mandrake.
Tom was an early graduate of the Joe Kubert School whose first published work was back-up and anthology stories found in DC Comics titles such as GHOSTS, THE UNKNOWN SOLDIER and SGT. ROCK.
Tom has been associated with an amazing variety of characters including, Batman, The New Mutants, The Hulk, Grimjack, Swamp Thing, Firestorm, Captain Kronos, and perhaps most notably on The Martian Manhunter and The Spectre.
Recently, along with writer John Ostrander, Tom created the Civil War vampire epic KROS: Hallowed Ground.
Tom is currently instructing our third year Sequential Art classes
