Currently, The Kubert School boasts a staff of instructors who are practicing professionals in their chosen field. Their talents range from Fantasy Illustrations to Computer Graphics. Faculty members are professionally oriented, practicing artists/designers with broad teaching experience in the diverse areas of the art world.The staff is available to assist in all aspects of the student's education and training.

Tom Mandrake

Tom graduated from The Kubert School in 1979 and went directly to work as Art Director for Modern Drummer Magazine. Since 1980 Tom has worked in the comic book field on a wide variety of titles including Batman, The Spectre and Swamp Thing for DC Comics, The Punisher, The Hulk Unchained and The New Mutants for Marvel Comics, X-Files 30 Days of Night and Fringe for Wildstorm Comics and Creeps with Image Comics. Toms graphic novel projects include a version of Shakespeare's Hamlet and the gritty adventure story The Safest Place. He has illustrated books including the young adult novel The Forest King: The Woodlarks Shadow. Tom was the Art Director for Comic Book Illustrations for the award winning independent film Zombie Prom.
